What Services Do We Provide?
We repair and restore broken or damaged ceramic and porcelain antiques and collectibles using professional methods and materials to make it appear as though they were never damaged. Only the damaged areas are affected and the results are generally invisible to the naked eye.

How Much Does It Cost to Have Antique Pottery, Porcelain China, and Figurines Restored?
The cost to restore or repair an antique or collectible is based on a number of factors, including: the amount of damage to the ceramic antique or collectible, the size of the piece, how many colors are involved, and whether or not all of the broken pieces are present. Our prices are always based on the amount of time and resources needed to restore the damaged areas and not on the actual value of the antique or collectible being restored. Because our goal is to provide repair and restoration services to the common collector and to antique and collectible resellers, we've made it a priority to offer high quality, long lasting restorations at affordable rates. In fact, prices start at $25 and most ceramic items can be fully restored for under $100. In addition, we have a number of incentives for antique and collectible dealers and estate resellers.

What Types of Antiques and Collectibles Do We Restore?
As you can see by the examples above we restore all types of ceramic antiques and collectibles for people all across the U.S.- from Washington to Ohio to New York and from California to Texas to Florida. Candidates for restoration include valuable ceramic antiques, cherished family heirlooms, and inexpensive collectibles that are full of sentimental value. Although we can repair or restore any ceramic or porcelain antique or collectible, we specialize in:

Ceramic Art Pottery Restoration

Antique Ceramic Art Pottery Restoration and Repair Services
American and British companies began producing antique art pottery in the 1870s. Art pottery is different from other antique pottery because it was made for display purposes rather than functionality. Because of this, most ceramic antique art pottery pieces are hand-painted and signed by the artist who painted it. During the boom years ceramic art pottery companies produced everything from vases to wall pockets to jardinières to creamers to ceramic tiles and ewers until the popularity of antique ceramic art pottery waned in the 1940s.

China Porcelain Restoration

Antique Porcelain China Restoration and Repair Services
Decorated porcelain cups, saucers, and bowls originated in China thousands of years ago. Beginning in the 1100s, porcelain pieces (called “china”) were imported to Europe. These porcelain artworks usually had the familiar blue and white patterns and were generally only available to wealthy English, German, and French families. After seeing the popularity of porcelain china pieces, European companies began to produce their own porcelain pieces to meet the demand of consumers and the German Meissen, French Limoges, and English Royal Doultan porcelain factories lead the way. In England, Spode China created bone china pieces to compete with Meissen’s hard paste porcelain pieces. Despite the competition, antique porcelain saucers, plates, figurines and cups were still only affordable to wealthy European families. As the materials used to make functional dinnerware shifted in the 1800s, porcelain china plates, saucers, bowls, cups, and figurines became ornamental artwork rather than functional items. Many of these antique porcelain china pieces are quite collectible today.

Antique Figurine Restoration

Antique Ceramic Figurine Restoration and Repair Services
Although the earliest antique ceramic figurines were created at least 30,000 years ago for ceremonial and spiritual purposes in areas of Asia and Africa, the ceramoc figurines most collectors associate with antiquity originated in Europe in the 1700's. Artisans of that era began sculpting figurines out of hard paste porcelain as the material spread across Europe. The first collectible antique figurines were produced by the same sources producing antique China pieces, including Meissen and Dresden in Germany, Limoges in France, and Royal Doultan in England. In the modern era, two of the most popular collectible antique figurine brands are M.J. Hummel from Germany and Lladro from Spain.

Beer Stein Restoration

Antique German Beer Stein Restoration and Repair Services
Antique beer steins, mugs, and tankards originated in Germany in the 1500s. Most antique beer steins were produced along the Rhine River, as Mettlach Villeroy & Boch became the premier stein manufacturer. Although beer steins are still produced today, the demand for German beer steins waned in the early 1900s when World War I began. Antique German beer steins are highly collectible today due to their colorful decoration and high craftsmanship. The scenes depicted on antique beer steins can be anything from a historical battle to athletics to humorous activities to a festive or partying atmosphere.
We have restored many antique German beer steins and would love to repair or restore yours!

Ceramic Heirloom Restoration

Antique Ceramic Heirloom Restoration and Repair Services
Although not every ceramic or porcelain item is valuable from a monetary perspective, every item has some type of value. Many of the ceramic and porcelain antique items we restore are family heirlooms that are worth nothing to general collectors, but have priceless sentimental value to their owners. From ceramic wall plaques inherited from mother-in-laws, beer steins handed down from fathers to sons, and antique china dinner plates passed down for generations, we restore and repair antique ceramic family heirlooms so that children and grandchildren can enjoy their beauty and the fascinating stories that come with them.
We have restored many priceless family heirlooms and would love to repair or restore yours!
